About Dr. Nawrot
Dr. Elizabeth Shannon Nawrot, Ph.D. has more than 30 years of experience in higher education as a teacher, scholar and administrator. She holds a Bachelor in Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters and Ph.D in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Nawrot has earned awards for teaching, research and service including being named a Dille Distinguished Faculty at Minnesota State University Moorhead and receiving a research grant from the National Institutes of Health.
As an educator accustomed to preparing lessons and presenting to classrooms, I am quite comfortable in front of a crowd, whether it’s 10 or 100! I enjoy facilitating teamwork and presenting workshops and trainings that are exciting and interactive.
With experience leading a variety of teams, I know the keys to success and how to trouble-shoot commons obstacles like conflict, accountability and engagement.
I have provided mentorship and coaching to dozens of individuals to help them improve their performance and enhance their professional development. I enjoy getting to know my clients and developing a 1:1 customized coaching and mentorship experience.
Service For Fargo/Moorhead
Dr. Nawrot is committed to community service and has served on the Board of Directors for the MNDN Chapter of the Red Cross and the Rourke Art Gallery + Museum, as well as being a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association.
As a long-time resident of the F-M area, I am passionate about serving my community. My husband and I raised our children here and we have both served in the local educational system for years. I am thrilled to be able to contribute to our schools and businesses in this new role as an Executive Coach
